Networking
Throughout the year, the society hosts a series of events where members are given the opportunity to put their networking skills to the test. These events are a great opportunity to expand your network with Professionals from an array of backgrounds. Our most successful networking event is the annual networking dinner.
The hard work and dedication that goes into arranging these events by the Committee is nothing short of award-winning. This year the University of Lincoln Law Society was recognised for hosting the "Best Careers Event", beating all other law societies in the country. This is an award that we are extremely proud of and we hope to win it again next year!
Networking Dinner
Annually, the Law Society hosts a Networking Dinner at the Double Tree Hilton. This year the event was attended by over 30 professionals, from Judges to Partners of firms and even including the Lincolnshire Coroner. These professionals were able to provide members with an insight into their career, first-hand experience on how to stand out in applications, some members made a great first impression on the professionals and even managed to secure work experience.
This is a very valuable event to attend, and each year we get fantastic feedback from members and professionals alike.
